Alba County was in the spotlight at the European Parliament thanks to the photo exhibition that MEP Victor Negrescu organized in the European Parliament building.
”It was a special opportunity for me and my colleagues to present the beautiful places of Alba County and to highlight the tourism, investment and economic development potential of the communities in Alba”, said the MEP.
The exhibition ”People and Communities. Discover Alba County, in the heart of Romania” presents the cultural and historical treasures that define the common Romanian and European identity, revealing authentic places and people of Alba County, right in the heart of Transylvania and Romania.
The event benefited from the presence of the Austrian Vice-President of the European Parliament, Evelyn Regner. The vernissage was attended by dozens of MEPs, European officials, guests from Alba county, journalists and representatives of the European Commission.
Victor Negrescu is a strong voice pleading for a European Alba County, proudly representing it in the European Parliament, believing that it has the potential to become a model for communities across Europe.
