Priorities of my MEP mandate

Equal treatment for all European citizens and defending the rights of Romanians in the European Union
How can we achieve it?
- By condemning discrimination against all Europeans and Romanians
- Combating double standards
- Creating a legal framework for European citizenship
What have I done in this regard?
- I reacted to several statements of extremist politicians made against Romanians or other Europeans
- I intervened in the plenary of the European Parliament regarding the situation of Romanian women that were forced to work in inhumane conditions in Italy
- I supported the campaign to create a European citizenship, by which equal treatment for all Europeans is guaranteed

Democratizing access to available opportunities at European level, by promoting new solutions for extended cooperation in the fields of health, education, research/innovation and entrepreneurship
How can we achieve it?
- By raising the level of awareness with regard to available funding opportunities, including direct opportunities, at the level of European institutions
- By developing new funding solutions or new opportunities for Romanian and European beneficiaries
What have I done in this regard?
- I initiated pilot projects funded by the European Commission in the fields of health, education, research/innovation and entrepreneurship, amounting to approximately 60 million Euro
- I organized events with start-ups and innovators, in Brussels
- I organized events in Romania to promote European opportunities in partnership with European institutions
- I launched an information portal regarding European grants

Promoting the added value brought by Romania to the European project
How can we achieve it?
- By organizing actions to promote Romania
- Promoting Romanian values and traditions
- Supporting Romanian innovation and creators
What have I done in this regard?
- I help with the organization of the most important event of the Romanian diaspora in Brussels
- I promoted through dedicated actions different areas of Romania and organized events that involved Romanian creators from different sectors
- I intervened in the plenary of the European Parliament with regards to the Romanian history and culture
- I celebrated national history by laying wreaths to Romanian soldiers killed in the First World War on the Western front.
