MEP Victor Negrescu, Quaestor of the European Parliament, discussed at the beginning of April in Berlin with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and members of the S&D Group about the representation of the European social democratic family at EU level after the European elections of 6-9 June 2024.

“We are continuing the dialogue on the representation of the European social democratic family after the European Parliament elections”, stressed the Romanian MEP.

He recalled that he was elected a few months ago to the position of Quaestor of the European Parliament, the most important position Romania currently holds in the European legislature.

As Quaestor of the European Parliament, Negrescu manages relations with the political groups in the European Parliament, the Court of Justice of the European Union, and the liaison offices of the European Parliament.
