A new milestone in the development of quality and accessible digital education for all. As Vice-Chair of the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) in the European Parliament and rapporteur of the Report on Shaping Digital Education Policy, MEP Victor Negrescu has constantly supported the need to create digital education hubs at European level and to involve all relevant stakeholders in the process. Concrete results of these efforts are now visible. The European Commission has launched the Accelerator program for the European Digital Education Hub, through which innovators from every educational sector are invited to submit proposals to enhance digital education.

The program focuses on three themes: vulnerable groups, engagement in digital education and 21st century skills. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to put their innovative ideas into practice, the program offering training sessions, mentoring and the opportunity to test the proposed technological solutions.
